The 2017 Gentlemen's Club Expo celebrated it's 25th anniversary back at its default home base of fabulous Las Vegas Nevada. As in year previous the city of sun, sin, and rampant debauchery welcomed these industry luminaries and professionals with open arms. Once again the Expo found safe harbor and top notch hospitality at the world famous Hard Rock Hotel and Casino; itself a testament to exactly how far putting a little skin in the game can take you. The terrestrial time horizon for the show occurred August 27th through the 30th, but what attendees take with in memories, knowledge, and connections projects far beyond physical time, date, and place. Its the kind of event that brings together a group of people who make things happen, bring smiles to peoples faces, and manage to make a few dollars in the process. The Annual Gentlemen’s Club EXPO is the only national convention and trade show of its kind for the multi-billion-dollar adult nightclub industry. This years Expo was the biggest and best the industry has seen thus far since it's conception in 1993. To say the least, we have all come a long way since 1993 and its been one hell of an exciting, fun, and special ride.

The Gentlemen's Club Expo features workshops, panel sessions, and seminars brought to you by industry professionals and guest speakers that share their knowledge and advice about a variety of topics including legalities, marketing and advertising, staff training, contracting quality entertainers, feature entertainer bookings, bachelor parties, proper club management, DJ seminars, and security training. Its something like strip club university with industry captains and seasoned veterans at the helm. If there is such a thing as a skin professor, they will surely be found at Expo. On a more serious note, the strip club business has a million moving parts. Its a people business, its a sales business, and its an entertainment business. Many people who get into the business and think its an easy sure shot money maker, soon learn that this is not so. The expo is there to inform, educate, amuse, and of course is always well lubricated with copious libations. A one-hour keynote address featuring renowned motivational speaker Dan Lier informed industry professionals how to effectively reach younger generations and is at the heart of a major challenge the industry faces today. Keeping young beautiful girls in the business has never posed a problem, but an aging clientele is another story completely. In our estimation one visionary already has the solution and its already rocking and rolling in Miami in the form of club E11even.

The 120 booth trade show allows industry professionals to network with exhibitors that provide products and services that can be utilized by gentlemen's clubs including liquor, beer and wine distributors, club sound, lighting and staging companies, employee relations and staffing services, attorneys, marketing specialists and so much more. The Expo is something of a one shop stop for owners, managers, entertainers, and anyone who wants connections and insight into what represents one of the last businesses on earth that is impervious to outsourcing.

The Annual Adult Nightclub & Exotic Dancer Awards Show honors the Adult Nightclub Industries top clubs and entertainers and is the only national awards show for the industry. The prestigious Overall Gentlemen’s Club of the Year award was attained by The Penthouse Club in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Rick’s Cabaret earned the Club Chain of the Year Award, no bias here as they own the show, but also honestly deserved. Each nominee for the Overall Entertainer of the Year award performed live during the awards show with Angela Sommers taking home the Overall Entertainer of the Year Award.

The Gentlemen's Club Expo and Adult Nightclub and Exotic Dancer Awards Show pulled out all of the stops this year and provided an informative (and entertaining) atmosphere that exceeded expectations and everyone in attendance had a very happy 25th anniversary.
Expo is not to be missed! If we didn't see you this year be sure to be there next year. Cheers!
